Prop Replacement

I was hoping for some advice. I am new to boating and have recently brought a Crieghton 27' Cruiser with a Honda 9.9 4 stroke outboard engine. Runs very well and have had no problems with it until the other day when the prop came off. I have been unable to locate it and have now ordered the new parts from my local chandlery.

Would anyone be able to help me with a step by step guide to replace the prop. I am aware that I have to place the prop on the shaft, then a locking nut with a split pin, but is there another washer / nut that needs to go behind the prop before I replace it.

While this is definately a prop question it also may be answered well on the Honda forum. I don't think the moderators will object to posting there.
Wouldn't hurt to tell us the year of your motor.
