Hello all, I just bought a used bayliner and have a question. what prop is on it? and how do you read the numbers? I have a # 48-8326834-c1 25 (part # on the prop) on the out side it's stamped 3310. it is a 14 dia but how can i find the pitch? it's a 21 ft cuddy cabin with a 4.3 190 hp alpha 1 wot 4400-4800 rpm but i can only get 3000 rpm at 40 mph max trim. not sure if it's a prop problem ( wrong size) or another problem. the boat weight is #3750 dry and when i get another four people in the boat it will only go 2000 rpm at full throttle until i get it plained which takes about 200 yards. when it's just my family (4) it gets on plane after 100 ft or so, but will still only hit 40 mph and 3000 rpm. i would like to change the prop so when i get a tube i can invite more people out and get the boat on plane faster.thanks for any help.
