We recently bought a 1989 Baka ski spotty. Has 5.7 merc inboard. It porpoises at about 35moh. Hubby thinks needs prop work. Not a bad place to start. Want to buy a spare as it is brass and will bend. Unfortunately I can't read the size. What is correct?

Take it to a prop shop and they can tell you and either fix it or sell you a new one.

I assume we are talking about a straight inboard.Does it have trim tabs? does it stop porpoising as you continue to increase speed?
I'm no "Ski Boat" expert but I think "Ski boats" usually are designed to lay down flat and I think usually have trim tabs to adjust attitude at various speeds.
Do you think the prop is dinged?
