prop seals

i bought a service manual off ebay, that was 2 weeks ago and the seller keeps giving some bs that he hasnt had time to ship it. well i really would like to go fishing. the problem is i keep getting water in the lower unit. and everyone tells me i need prop seals. is there anyone that can give me a step bt step on how to do this so i can go out this weekend. hopfully paypal will get my money back. thank you zac

i have the prop off i am asuming that the seals are right in the hub with the shaft coming out. can someone just tell me the best way to take them out and put back in with out messing aything up. thank you

Just replacing the prop seals might not take care of your problem you should pressurize your lower unit with air can't remember how much though then use some soap and water to find your leak the easiest thing to do is replace the seals on fill & vent screws here these can leak often especially when you change your grease they can get worn out. besides the prop seals there is the drive shaft seals below the water pump which mean you would have to drop the lower unit to get to them Its kind of involved but not really a hard job to do just to much for me to explain here you really need the manual.
