Re: prop selection

hey i know how that goes i built a boat from scratch to from clarkcraft, i am also familair with glen l designs to , i often visit www.screamandfly.com and post ?'s on the forums, there are some of us with small boats on there, you also might want to try this prop speed calculator http://www.rbbi.com/folders/prop/propcalc.htm
once you get some numbers to go off of, talk to john at DAH pro-pellers in burlington wisc. he has alot of perf props there and is extremely friendly, he loves to talk props and boats

you really need to throw a prop on there and get a tach and see what she runs at, general rule of thumb is that for every step in pitch you go up you will drop rpms by 200 r's,

Re: prop selection

i just saw your other posts about perf. parts. you definitly need to get onto scream and fly, that website is more performance friendly. im not trying to draw peaple away from here, after all i still come and post here and read post, i find it very informative. boyeson makes reeds for just about every 2 stroke made, they will give you alittle better midrange and idle better and a couple hundred extra rpm on the top.
