I have a 16ft. Starcraft alum. boat, not sure of the year, with a 1965 60hp. Johnson Super Sea-Horse. Model # vxl-11a. Serial # c467278. I would like to replace the prop that is on their now. The numbers I found stamped on the prop are the following 307318 F 10x11 P15071. I believe the P15 is the pitch, but I'am not sure about the diameter. I also searched iboats.com for the part number but got no results.

Re: prop selection

Prop size is 10 X 11. (Diameter X pitch)Catalog says it came with a 9.5 X 10.
with about 3 or 4 additional optional sizes.I believe 307318 is the part number.
Now is the time to make a change if necessary. If you tell us your present
max rpm and speed we can suggest if another prop may be better.
Checked for an 11" prop here at iboats came up but in a 14" diameter
There is no way a 14 is going to fit that motor. These props are typically about 10" diameter. It may be possible to get your prop repaired.

Re: prop selection

Thank you for your reply. I don't know the max rpm but the max speed is apprx. 30 mph. If i decided to get the prop repaired were can I get it done, the blades are in rough shape.
