Re: prop selection

I dont have that info. But you can figure it or
a prop shop or good marina.Keeping it simple
you need to know your present rpm.the motors recomended max rpm.the pitch of the present prop then to increase rpm you would need less pitch
to decrease decrease rpm more pitch. When reaching your max rpm you should be at your max speed.
There are also some special props that will
tweak the most speed out of your motor. Most shops or marinas will let you use/borrow a prop to check the performance.Keep in mind if you
increase the pitch you will decrease the hole shot
and load performance.Decreasing pitch will improve hole shot and load performance. You need to be careful to not exceed the maximum recomended rpm.

Have a look at http://www.mercurymarine.com/prop_selector

More than that, you have to know what rpm @ wot you get with the current prop and setup. Also if you have any particular problems with it.

Then calculate your new pitch based on the rpm and decide the prop type and design based on your currently experienced problem - if any.
