Prop selection is unique to each engine and hull combo, plus it's intended use. Generally you prop to get wot in the intended range for that engine, maybe a little less or more pitch if you want pulling power vs top speed

Many different props will get the engine into the required RPM range, but may differ in things like Top Speed, Midrange Performance, Resistance to Ventilation, Bow Lift, Stern Lift, Acceleration, and other parameters.
A prop that is best for what I like, may not be the best for you, even though it allows the engine to run at the proper RPM
