I noticed this weekend while turning my prop by hand that there is a slight but noticeable wobble. Should I be concerned with this?

YES!!!!

Replace the propshaft and have the gears inspected for possible damage. A bent propshaft can cause damage to the bearing carrier and bearings. It's much cheaper to fix it now than after the damage occurs.

Good luck! :)

You might also want to check with your insurance company, if the damage is severe.

That is if you have insured the unit.

TMD

Re: prop shaft bent

Prop shafts can be straightened by a good machine shop and it is a way less expensive fix than a new prop shaft.
