How much play should be in a prop shaft? I have a slight bit of play in the shaft and notice a very little vibration when the props on and engine in gear! Is that common or not common. ITs an older merc1 outdrive but runs great! thanks guys?
If you are talking about play from end to end? yes that is common but if you are talking about vertical play in the prop get the outdrive checked.<br /><br />Bob
