Prop Shaft

Im having problems getting the prop shaft out of my 200 hp mercury outboard. I have the housing out, but the clutch, pinion gear and reverse are still in there with the shaft.. Any suggestions would be appreaciated

Didn't mention a serial number, year or anything else so it could be looked up.

Found the parts but unable to find manual listing your serial number

Your saying you have the prop shaft out but the gears remain on it.

Meaning the carrier has not been removed?

Carrier is removed, prop shaft and clutch did not come out with it.. It is very frustrating

you have to remove he pinion gear, then the driveshaft ,then it all comes out

Soory but all you have to do is remove the unit and then remove shift shaft and propshaft will pull straight out. Gears can stay in place....

Thanks guys... This is the first time ive had to do anything with my motor. so i figured id take my time and learn as I go...
