prop shafts

i have a 2001 yamaha 225 two stroke 30 " shaft that i bent the prop shaft on. Have 1996 200 two stroke 25" shaft parts engine and am wondering if that prop shaft will fit in the 225 . Can any one tell me if this will work before i try it?
