Hey guys I'm new to this forum. I'm looking at a really good prop. I currently have a 13x19 aluminum with a hydro foil on the outdrive. I had 4 guys in my boat and it doesn't want to get up on plane unless 2 guys get way up in front of the boat.
I heard a 15 x 21 works great for my boat, with an increase in 10mph and gets up on plane very fast with a loaded boat.
I'm not aware of them making a 15x21 prop. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

Welcome to iboats.

You have gotten some bad information. the 15X21 will really worsen matters and 10 mph is sincerely wrong.

Hydrofoils work but only on certain boats but the best people have found is either trim tabs or nothing at all except the stock trim.

Did you notice the "sticky post" http://forums.iboats.com/prop-questions-topics/read-first-287818.html

While many people throw props at boats we have found that is a very costly proposition. Follow the notes in the sticky post ;)

So what year is your boat? The hull? Is there any water secretly stored in the flotation foam below the deck. You might be hauling an extra 500+ pounds and not know it! That will have a huge impact on performance.

Let is know.

Just to make it a little clearer boats like yours typically use a 19 or 21" pitch. Higher pitch numbers make it harder for the motor to push the boat but if the motor can spin it up to the rated wot rpm range it may produce more speed.
Your 19" should produce solid performance unless you run with a bunch of people and gear.4 isn't a bunch, unless they are 300 pounders.
Struggling with a foil added may indicate other issues.Hull issues or motor issues.
