Prop size?

I have a 2005 215 Osprey Sport (Aquasport) with a 150 hp 2 stroke. The stock prop that came with the boat is a 14 X 19 aluminum. I recently put a
13 3/4 x 19 black stainless prop on the boat and my WOT went to 6000. With the stock prop my WOT was at 5500. Is this the right prop? Should I go bigger or increase the pitch?

Chances are the rpm gain was due the difference in prop design, not 1/4 inch of diameter. Just because one prop is 19P does not mean another 19P from a different manufacturer will perform the same. If you stay with the same brand and style of prop, a 21P prop will bring rpm down to about 5600 give or take a little. If you change brands again, who knows?
