Prop Size

Does anyone have a 16ft. fiberglass runabout with a 100 to 110 hp outboard that can tell me what size Prop they are running diameter and pitch for that size boat ? I have a 110hp Mercury with a 11.5 inch 15 pitch Prop and it doesnt seem to push the boat properly.

Hello Frank,Your not likely to find exact information. But we can get you setup.
Details,details,details.
please read "read this first at the top of the prop forum.
We need the year and style, V, tri hull etc.of the boat,hp,year of the motor,gear ratio if possible,prop size(usually under the prop nut.
Then we need a lightly loaded run for the wot rpm and speed by gps if possible.
Its important that the motor be able to operate within its rated rpm range.A good run should tell us if your setup is working.
