Prop spins slowly when I rev in neutral

Is this normal or is this a partial engagement of the clutch.

Can I burn out the clutch in this situation.

Note, boat is a new build and should be ready for first sea test very soon.

The term "Clutch" is a bit of a misnomer in the boating world.
"Drive Dogs" would be more appropriate.

The "Clutch" teeth are either engaged or they aren't.
There is no Middle Ground, No slipping, Nothing Partial about it.

The big "Clunk" that you hear as you shift into gear is the Clutch engaging.
A Marine clutch looks and works nothing like an Automotive clutch.
