I just finished installing a new impeller kit on my 1981 johnson 115hp v4 now the shaft seems to no longer engaged with the propeller, it just spins freely how can i fix this.
The lower unit will not bolt up unless the splines are lined up...so I have to guess you still have the lower unit off?
If so, you likely got the shift-shaft moved back into the neutral position.
