Prop: To paint or not to paint

I keep my boat in a salt water slip ~6mos/yr.
​Last year is the 1st year I saw any growth on the pro.
It's an I/O so the prop is always in the water.
I put on ~60-80hrs/year.

Any thoughts on antifouling paint on the prop?

You could clean the prop real good and spray it with anti- fouling paint, but as soon as you run the boat I expect the paint will start to come off....but it should work at keeping marine growths off as long as the paint is on it.....seems like a good idea to me...

Use the boat more, and the growth will be minimum.

Wasn't much growth at all..........
Probably should just ignore it.
