prop turns in neutral

I have just changed the impeller on my Yamaha 95 85HP and after replacing the lower unit back in its place the prop
keeps turning when i start it even though it is in neutral.
Any ideas.

It will turn slowly from the exaust pressure, nothing to worry about .....

Thanks for the reply, but its not turning slowly its like its in gear. I can turn the prop freely forward but when i turn it in reverse the flywheel catches.

ok .... it sounds to me like you didn't adjust the shift rod to where it was, you need to play with it until the gears are as it should be ....
