prop ????

i have a prop question and it might be dumb but its says 14.3x21 does that mean the 14 is the shaft diamiter and the 3 is the blades and 21 is the pitch

Not dumb, never dumb, no such thing.

14.3 is the diameter of the prop in inches and 21 is the pitch. Pitch is how far forward the prop would move in inches in one 360 degree revolution if it were in jello and not pushing anything. No slipage like in water pushing a boat.

I would say I don't know how many blades are on that prop based on info provided. Only the diameter and pitch have been provided.

Usually the number of blades isn't listed on the prop as it is obvious. Sometimes direction of rotation is listed on the prop because it is less obvious to the casual observer. A part number might indicate all info including if it has a separate hub.
Generally diameter is a secondary consideration and varies with the pitch as pitch goes up diameter usually goes down.
