I have a 92 Johnson 150 Fast strike with a 3 blade prop s/s 24 pitch pushing an 18' bass boat it will top out at about 60. I am thinking of going to a 4 blade prop. What are the advantages and disadvantages the rpms are about 5200 at this speed.

Outside of the fact that you should be running around 5800 RPM's for that motor, you may want to read this.<br /><br /> web page
