Propeller Direction

Remove lower unit for impeller change, If Im standing behind the motor with the shift box in forward in which direction is the propeller supposed to turn clockwise or counter clockwise?

Clockwise..... unless you have a counter rotating drive.

How do I know this? engine model maybe...

When I connected everything I took care of watching the shift position forward will bring the shift rod down, reverse will bring the shift rod up, I guess is time to hit the water......
