I have a Merc 200 20HP, S/N 4410735 and I'm trying to identify the prop on it. It's 2 bladed and has 8087822 stamped on the outside. The leading 8 and 0 are rotated 90 degrees from the orientation of the 8782 in the middle as is the trailing 2. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what brand is on it now, but if it's the standard 2 blade prop, it's an 9-7/8 X 11" prop. There is a 10 X 9" available for it, also. That would bring up your RPM's about 400 or so. These are Michigan props for your 1976 200, BTW..

I have the same motor, but a 1973 model. I just had the stock 9 7/8 x 11 2-blade prop changed out to a 3 plade 10 x 9. With the 2-blade, I would get 5100 RPM and a GPS max speed of 22.3 MPH. The 3-blade does allow the RPMs to get over 5400, but not quite up to max of 5500 and gives me about 1 more MPH. The motor feels like it is laboring less, but that is just subjective. The new prop is a Mercury.
