Proper Battery for My Application

So this has probably been covered, but I couldn't find anything in the search. I have a 2005 Bayliner 185 with a 3.0 Mercruiser. The boat only has one battery. It is a group 24M deep cycle. The only draw on the battery, other than starting, would be a radio. Typical runs are going to be 5-20 minutes cruising or maybe pulling a tube, then parked on a sandbar for a couple of hours. Will only be on the river. Always in sight of land and other boats. Always carry a small jump starter. The battery will not hold a charge and needs replacing. I don't think I can get anything physically bigger in the current mounting location. My question is what type of battery do I need for this application. Deep cycle? Marine starting? Dual purpose?
