Re: proper manual???

Get the Mercruiser service manual #10 for your engine, you can't do any better than that.
It doesn't include anything on the drive, trim, or transom shield, but that one you can get online if you want.

Click here for the outdrive service manual.

Ahhh, my lack of reading again, you have the manuals, you just want to know what engine you have.
You have what's commonly known as a 120 raw water cooled engine. If you order parts from a Mercruiser dealer, just use the serial number 0B576723, the drive also has a serial number and gear ratio on the side (Manual tells you where to find it).

Re: proper manual???

Is there a place to find/download owners manual for my mercruiser 205 V6 from -87. The number is A651183 I think. Or do I have to order it from ex mercury? Don S: Thanks for the link to the outdrive service manual!
