Proper Prop ?

1982 searay sundancer 245 with a merc 260 pre alpha out drive . could anyone tell me the proper size and pitch ? emailed searay and they said thier info did'nt go back that far . any help would be great . thanks

Need to know what you have on it now, what your top end speed is, and your rpm at top speed..

there is no prop on boat now all i could find out is rpm should be between 4200 and 4600

Only advice I can give on that is to post your question in the Sea Ray section. Hopefully someone there with the same boat or more Sea Ray knowledge.

try a 15x17 as astarting point try toborrow it ​
