Depends what control you have as to how it works.
But at a guess, prime the bulb til its firm then as you turn the key to engage the starter also pressing it in as that will operate the choke.
When it starts let key go, as it stalls again bump the key in temporarily and that will give it a bit of choke to keep it going. Do that until its running smooth
