i have a 79 mercruiser 120hp I/O, how do i tell what kind of pitch the prop is. it has 3 blades is there somewhere on the prop that says it? and where do i check the oil for the trim on the sterndrive at?

Hey Scott, there should be # stamped on the hub of your prop beyween the blades .I'm guessing you have a 15p on that engine. Your trim pump and resevoir should on starboard side near your engine.. but not in the bilge.It should have a plastic resevoir that should be about 3/4 full of atf or hydrolic fluid.<br /><br /> Jim
