Decided to give them a try and I must admit I am quite surprized, they are cheap and to my amazement there is a dealer about 5 minutes from where I work that sells them ..... I was very sceptical at first because it looks like something you would get in a lucky packet, (nothing like my shiney ballistic performance 15p prop) but I put this prop through it's paces, I tried it on my 30hp suzuki modified on my 8,5 ft inflatable (as in my avatar) my fuel consuption was much better, the slight vibration I had was gone, and less strain on my arm from the tiller, the RPM dropped a little aswell as it was too high before when I ran my 15p cleaver, I have it set on 16p and it is smooth, my top speed shot up to 51 mph they say it is stronger than aluminium and it is, I beached my boat on the sand at WOT and it sliced the sand with no damaged ...... just a pity it only comes in 4-blade, as we are only aloud 3 blade props in the races ........

I had heard of these before but yours is the first hands on report I've seen.
What was the difference in your speed, and did you lose much hole shot?
I have to ask what do they cost.

well I paid $162 for mine that fits on a suzuki, merc, mariner, evenrude, johnson and a couple more all about 20 - 35 hp, and you get different hubs with it so it is interchange-able with the different motors, and I ordered one for my 200hp yamaha that would be about $338 also interchange-able, on the pro-pulse website they have a chart where you can see what all fits with what ...... I didn't lose any hole shot, I gained a hell of alot ..... I got a speed increase of 7 - 10 mph, they have demo props you can test (well here in South Africa) so get one and give it a test, it is worth it ..... check their website ...... www.propulse.se

Wow that sounds amazing ; even if your other prop was way off it seems amazing to get 7 to 10 mph with no loss of hole shot. With that performance I'm not surprised at your MPG increase. Now you can probably run at cruise throttle and go as fast as your old WOT.Did you use a flow meter to check mileage or just dead reconing?Any problem with ventilation?

...... exactly, and it is awesome ........... as my motors' rpm ran a bit too high anyway as it is modified ....

no ventilation issues ....... I just used reconing to check flow ..... I have my normal everyday route I drive, I have a very small fuel tank cause I can't have too much weight on the boat so it is easy for me to see how much fuel I use to the normal ......

Maybe I'll try one on my toon.I'm not looking for more speed but a little better mileage would be nice.
I think I'll go to the site and see what people are saying.
Thanks for the info.
