Hey what's up guys I recently replaced the charge coil and sensor coil on my 1987 15hp evinrude. I finally get spark now and my engine wants to start. The problem that I have is that when I try pull starting the engine the throttle moves to the off position even when I give it gas it still turns back off any idea what I did wrong? I will post some pictures of how i installed my armature plate thanks guys

You didn't install that coil properly.

(Magneto & Driver Coil Alignment)
(J. Reeves)

To align the coils properly, have the metal vertical portion of the coil yokes aligned with the inside edge of the bevel that exists on the top portion of the aluminum seat upon which the coils sit. This creates the proper distance between the coils and the flywheel magnets. Faulty alignment creates friction and the yokes of the coils heat up, turn blue and expand.

finally got it! thanks man i really appreciate your help! one quick question though the wires on the coil sensor come out from the bottom and they bent while i was tightening the screws. do you think this will cause a problem like maybe cracking the protective coating and exposing the wire? heres a picture where the white wires bent

I've had those wires bent as you describe and never encountered a problem. Some things we have no choice with.

I just looked at one in my shop, and the wires come out the bottom of the sensor, and go to the left, outside the raised aluminum ring (not over it as in your picture). I suppose yours might be different ??
