Pulling hard to the left

I have a 1973 Starcraft American with a 302 2brl and a volvo outdrive. This is my first "real" boat and took it out for the first time today. Man I had to fight this think to keep it straight and fight harder to turn to the right. The outdrive has a horizontal fin. Is that just the way these are or is there something I can do to fix that?

You need to replace your propeller with the same pitch but with the opposit rotation. The rear cover on the drive comes off and you just need to change the shift linkage to make the drive turn the other way. It is easy and you will only need a new cotter pin.

I'll try that, I see there's a trim fin right behind the prop with a simple allen screw.
