Pulling the engine out... what else?

Ok, so I am pulling the Chevy 350 on my '72 225 OMC ELE to replace the coupler on the fly wheel this weekend. Any other major items that should be addressed while the motor is out? (that can only be fixed with the engine pulled) I would only like to have to do this once. Thanks so much for any/all your help.

Good time to inspect everything. Fix any oil leaks, etc.. A good cleanup will keep her running cooler and your bilge cleaner. I would pull the block drain plugs too... I'll bet you'll find some buildup behind them. Easier to do out of the boat.<br /><br />If you have any rust on the oil pan you may want to address that.

Id atleast have the srarter removed,serviced, and the bolts anti-seized . easier now then in the bilge
