I'm trying to pull the upper unit of a VP 280. I have all the bolts out and got the unit to pull up until it was free and spins freely...but i can't pull it out (back). how much pressure can i put on this thing? is using a come-along a bad idea?

Yeah that's just where I got mine as well. Shot some Pb blaster into the bellows (looks real rusty in there) and gave it some light yanks with a come-along but it won't budge. Am I missing something?
