Does anyone know how this fitting work?
-Is it a check valve?
-If you can blow trough it in both ways, is it broken?
VRO Fuel Pump:
Is there any difference between the pumps for a 70, 150 and 200 HP? Or do all models use same pump?

Re: Pulse Limiter & VRO

The correct pulse limiter has a blue color on one end, the old style ones had black. You can blow thru it both ways, but if the motor "backfires", the internal reed valve snaps shut to protect the pump.

The replacement VRO pumps are all the same, and come with different fittings to fit the various engines.

Older motors with a 3 wire VRO alarm system will need to have the extra wire and connector to upgrade them to the more reliable 4 wire system. These are illustrated in the Parts and Accessories Catalog.
