Hey folks, I pulled my 1996 VP 4.3 L and had to disconnect the Power steering lines from the steering ram, when I put the motor back in is there a process for adding fluid to the PS pump and purging the air out and getting it back to normal.

Yes, there is a proper way to do it.
Fill up the PS pump, then, with the engine OFF, turn the wheel lock to lock 3 or 4 times. Check the oil and top off, and do it again. Then start the engine and do the same thing.
If you don't do it without the engine running first, you may get a shaking of the drive when you turn it.
