Well i finally gave in when i saw the weather report, calling for snow.

I was hoping for one more day of fishing.

But today i dragged the boat into the backyard where i leave it for the winter.

Put the drive down and the bow up.

Pulled the battery, and double checked everything, was already winterized but ready to go in a moments notice.

I caught myself talking to the ole girl out laud.

Couldn't believe i said sleep tight ill see you next year.

Sad thats it's over for this year, glad i made it thru, this year, and i have had issues with the boat that i fought thru.

I'm thankful for still being here, and sad some friends won't be here to enjoy the pastime we chose to engage in.

This is more than just a hobby, it's a community of boaters.

And boaters are more than happy to pass on knowledge, help when another boater needs it, and give a shoulder to lean on.

Well the woods are calling myself and my eldest son, together we will explore a different world.

My youngest son enjoys boating.

I exposed them to my passions, and allow them to choose which ones they will make there own.

Soon they will walking a path of there own making, just gonna happen faster than i would like.
