Hi, does anyone know a website where I can compare Personal Water Craft (SeeDoos, WaveRunner etc)? I am researching prior to purchasing, and I have no idea where to begin. Any information regarding best manufacturer, models etc. would be grately appreciated.

Kind Regards!

Re: PWC

Lisa- I don't know of a website for comparisons, but I can tell you as a SeaDoo dealer that the major difference is the construction of the hull. SeaDoos are hand laid fiberglass which is very strong versus a WaveRunner which is cast from a mold(weaker). We had an old junk SeaDoo on the forklift one day-we didn't mean to but we dropped it from about 12 feet..it BOUNCED..scuffed up the gelcoat some(the outer finish)but otherwise no damage !! A WaveRunner would have shattered ! bobquay@hotmail.com ;)

I have a SeaDoo and love it. Also you can compare prices at boat.com.

Lisa Marie: Trailer Boats magazine does an objective comparison of PWC's every year. Try their website www.trailerboats.com and see if the article is online. The magazine is worth subscribing to in itself and you can get a back issue for the article if you have to.

Re: PWC

If you want dependability go with the WaveRunner. Check out the brand rented at most beaches....Waverunners! I have a few friends with See-doo's and have not been impressed with the reliability of them. I've towed crippled See-doo's on several occasions.
