QD 11 ihitial highspeed jet setting and Impeller replacement question

QD 11 Johnson 10 hp what is the initial rough setting of the high speed jet? Does the power head need to be removed to change the impeller? New to this model thanks. Dom

Powerhead does not need to come off to replace impeller.

I believe the procedure is to remove the tow-piece exhaust housing from the rear of the midsection. Then disconnect the shift rod at the top and unscrew from the yoke. This reply subject to correction and ridicule. It's been a long time since I've been into one.
