What is the year model of this motor and were can I find parts. I need the recoil starter complete unit . thanks

A QD-15 is a 1954 Johnson 10hp. Place a free wanted ad on the Antique Outboard Motor Club's classified ads page at their website, "www.aomci.org"

Is your recoil missing or broken as they can be fixed reasonably easily.

Ask at the AOMCI board which years/models recoils are interchangeable, then watch the auction site. They are common there and not too pricey.
