quadrajet carb help again

hey guys will a four barrel quadrajet #17080565 from a 5.0 work on a 5.7 just need to know before i do something crazy lol.

will it work yes but you may have to re jet and/or change metering rods to get it to preform its best

i still have those metering rods from the original carb for the 5.7 i will switch them and see how it peform. thanks
