Hey folks, got a question...I dropped my boat off at a guy's house to have my GPS speedo installed (Faria Chesepeake Black SS GPS 60 mph Speedometer - this one: http://www.boatersland.com/faria-chesapeake-black-ss-60-mph-gps-speedometer.html). He texted me today with this: "I tried to install speedo and it will not match up with the tube setting from the other one. It's a different gauge." Does this make any sense? I thought it would just be a matter of putting it in the dash and hooking up the power source? It kinda sounds like he's trying to hook up the tube from the pitot...? Thanks for any advice!

That's what it sounds like. If true, the guy is clueless.

I think you should have done this yourself, Tony. You know what to do from your thoughts.

I guess the guy is going to charge you the standard $100+ per hour :(

Yikes! Don't help me some more!! And don't forget to plug the current tube or remove the pitot or you will have wet feet.
