I was wondering if this rod connected to I think the gas valves of the carb is supposed to move like this and come all the way out of the socket. I notice that the hose it goes into it has electrical connections so I was wondering the function of this and if it looks okay. Posted video here on YouTube. https://youtu.be/UPh11RbzkQc
also. I broke this plastic piece when taking the carbs out to clean and I’m not sure what it is called/part number. I’m sure I’ll find it by looking it up enough. Pics attached.

Merc used electrical wire and electrical connectors to actuate their manual choke, for some reason. The choke was purely mechanical and the wire they used simply pulled it closed. I guess it was easier to use the stuff they had on hand, versus buying some thin stainless steel cable

I think that that carb syncher is made of ABS plastic but at least the material you use in 3D printing has to be fuel proof.

The original also has captured stainless wear bushings. Can you print a rod around the bushings?

I would go with the NLA rod which is beefed up for 35 bucks plus shipping.

Made this happen with some jbwaterweld putty due to my schedule so I can test out the cleaned carbs tomorrow. Definitely gonna put the nla on when it comes in I agree it does look very solid. It states on the package that jb water weld putty is fuel resistant though. Cool stuff
