I've got my FXHO engine installed in my aluminum boat, and I've got it running!!
Anyhow, my last task is to figure out the wiring configuration of the analog tachometer.
This tach has 8 pins, 2 rows of 4.
I know one is the ground wire, another would be the ignition wire, another would be the illumination wire, one is the tachometer sending wire, another is the oil pressure, and another is the temp wire.
OK, that's 6 out of 8. I'm wondering what the other 2 are for.
But more importantly I am wondering if anyone knows the specific configuration of these 8 pins, which is which?
I'm sure I could figure it out using test leads with very low amperage fuses, but it would sure be a lot quicker and easier if someone could help me figure this out.
Thanks in advance.
