Question about tilt tube 1999 15hp

I have ordered a tilt tube for my 1999 15hp johnson - but have a general question - Do you remove the long bolt holding the motor to the motor at the point it swivels and replace it with the tilt tube? I havent seen any pictures of how this is done and wasn't sure if thats where the tilt tube belongs or if I have to purchase another adapter for the motor.

Interesting. I didn't realize you can do that, but yes that's where it goes. But looking at the parts list, it seems like you remove some bushings and replace with some different ones. Sorry, I don't know much more than that.
