Sorry if this question is a little vague but can someone list some well known legal issues that arise for a company selling fishing boats. Like some legal issues you may have experienced personally trying to buy any type of boat? Your response is appreciated

always in the bill of sale, include this wording. " the buyer has inspected the boat, motor, and trailer, he is satisfied, and accepts the items in there as is condition." include the registration/title/serial numbers of each item.

If you keep getting "skunked" on your fishing trips, I don't think that the courts recognise any culpability on the part of the company that sold you your boat....:)

Well, I have it on good authority that unless you have a Triton boat with a Yamaha outooard and tow it with a Toyota Tundra truck, you have no hope whatever of catching any bass. :D

very vague so more detail is needed. Here in Missouri they title everything so the easiest thing to do is get all the right paperwork when the deal is done. It's not impossible to get a title for a boat from a bill of sale just not worth my time and effort in most cases. Don't know if that was what you were looking for nor does anyone else.

From recent post, there was one where the bill of sale said the engine was a 115 but after the sale a mechanic found out is was an 85. Don't know what happened in the end.

CATransplant - You forgot to mention dual Yamaha 350 hp four stokes and a tundra with chrome wheels and leather interior

In my experience, 20 year old plywood duckboats with hastily attached lawnmower wheels for transport and a pair of oars are what's needed for monster crappie :)
