Question for a Mercury OB guru and AutoBlend Mixers

Tashasdaddy has warned me of using the 9V autoblend mixing system for my 1986 115 HP OB. He said eventually, they will not mix the correct amount of oil to gas and burn up the motor. He mentioned to either unhook it and premix or go to the newer setup of automixers. He wasn't sure what the newer system was called. Does anybody know

I would like to use an automixing system as long as it will perform flawlessly. I don't wan't to burn up any motors!!!

As near as I know they are all trouble, sooner of later the will toast your engine Mercury Marine bought me two 115 powerheads and AutoBlends in one year.

Thanks for the info. That's all I need to know. I'm going back to the premix ways of doing things.
