Hey ally260, I noticed on another posting that you love Lasers. I also viewed the pics of your project Laser. Holy crap! That looks just like my '79 Laser. I'm also currently restoring the underdeck stuff. My cap also has the same exact configuration.
Questions: What year is your Laser and what lenght is it? Mine: 18ft.
What HP are you running?
What speed should mine run with a fresh '86 115 IL six and has been bored over .030? BTW - it hasn't been broke in yet either...
The guy I bought it from said it was a Laser of Grapevine???? I haven't been able to find any information anywhere on the net for this model boat nor have I found anything on the manufacturer. Can you help on this?
Thanks for any tips and also, I can't freakin' wait to get this thing oin the water and broke in. The seller told me he had it at 65mph with the old '76 power head... would he be pulling my leg?
