Sorry for the delayed response, been gone.<br /><br />We had some folks come in and demo the rods. Looked neat but the guys in the machine shop always went back to Mig, Tig or whatever they were using. I dont really know why they didnt use the rods to be honest.
Are these the rods that work with propane?If so they work very well with thin gauge aluminum,like a soda can,up to a jonboat hull thickness.To do a skeg,I don't think so.But they do have their use.<br />DHP
