Hmmmmmmmmm, I can log on from all 3 here at home at the same time. Wonder if it's because all 3 are here that makes a difference?

Re: Question for Dunarunna was.....then...now confused.

It's a page loading problem, not a log on problem.
Since I changed from dialup to broadband (adsl) the iboats site is accessible once or twice a day, every other time I try - nuttin', blank screen, timeout/retry etc etc etc etc etc..................

I have no problems with any other website. In other words, it's only iboats.com that fails to load.

I do not log off. I have the 'stay logged on' button checked. I do not turn my modem off. I do turn my computer off. I am one of many (in this part of the world)that is experiencing this problem. It is a problem that has been around for a couple of years although I never experienced it until I changed to broadband (December 2005).

I run a miriad of anti everything software. I have soft and hard firewalls.

Sometimes, if I clear the cache, delete temp files, run defrag, reboot - the iboats page loads. Maybe a coincedence - dunno.

I have heard rumors about why this is happenning, one such rumor is that iboats are blocking some IP's from this part of the world because of asian hacking issues. I would like to know if this is true or not so that I can focus on resolving this problem.

Aldo

Aldo, the powers that be are maddingly mute. I have made appeals on behalf of Peterf of NZ only to not have them addressed at all. PeterF is not able to log on period.

Might not be a big deal to iboats but it makes me mad 'cause I love hearing from my Commonwealth Cousins on the 'other side' :D .

Could it be that you have more than one alias with the same machine signature?
