I currently am running a black max 21 pitch prop on my 2050 crestliner, 4.3 mercuiser, alpha 1 gen 2. WOT 4600rpm +- depends on the day. RPM range 4400-4800

My question is if you bought a Hustler prop did you change pitch from your original prop to compinsate for a change in rpm? If you have a setup close to mine, and went to a hustler, post the wot change, or no change. This will help me choose if i should drop or add 2" of pitch or stay at my 21

As you can see i am right in the middle of my range, so i am stuck inbetween props in term of sellable prop pitches (they sell the hustler in odd number pitch)

Thanks

I stayed with a 19P on mine, works amazing imo.

Re: Question for those using Turning Point Hustlers

The TP Hustler turns lower RPMs than stock aluminium props. This is because it has an aggresive rake and blade design that grips the water.

If I were you, since you have another 200RPM left in the recommended range, I'd go with a 19p TP Hustler. This should put you right about 4800RPM. I think a straight across change from stock to hustler will drop your RPM by about 300.
